This month my Dad turns half a century old! As I’ve said
before, I really struggle making masculine cards. So I decided to create
something simple for his special day. I’ve used bright colours, fake stitching
and a couple of birthday sentiments. And the finishing touch, twine! Perfect!

Vintage Birthday Delights
It’s my cousins Honor’s first birthday this month! So of
course I have made her a very special card. It’s not really baby like, but I reckon
it is one of the best cards I have ever made. The vintage colours, bright
flower and calico ribbon go so well together. I actually pinched a hole in the
top of the card to thread the ribbon through and tied the bow. That was much easier
than trying to glue the heavy ribbon on the card front.

To Have and to Hold
My Aunty Karina recently got married and she and my now Uncle Mick asked me to make the place cards for their wedding. It was such a privilege to do so, the finished result of the tables were stunning. The colour theme was blue and yellow.
